Abstract: Bladder cancer is the 14th most common cause of cancer deaths worldwide and has a mean age of diagnosis of 73 years. Elderly people have fewer curative treatment options for muscle invasive bladder cancer. The aim of this study is to investigate how bladder cancer mortality has changed over the past forty years in different world regions to assess discrepancies between elderly and younger patients with bladder cancer.
