We report a case of cardiac arrest in a 64-year-old woman following liposomal amphotericin B infusion, requiring resuscitation. We also present the results of subsequent skin prick and intradermal testing to liposomal amphotericin on the patient and three healthy controls, highlighting the need for further research into the immunopathogenesis of this reaction. | URI: | https://ahro.austin.org.au/austinjspui/handle/1/27110 | DOI: | 10.1186/s13223-021-00582-x | ORCID: | 0000-0002-9439-0251 | Journal: | Allergy, Asthma, and Clinical Immunology : Official Journal of the Canadian Society of Allergy and Clinical Immunology | PubMed URL: | 34325715 | ISSN: | 1710-1484 | Type: | Journal Article | Subjects: | Ambisome CARPA Intradermal testing LAmB Skin prick testing |
